The Rhino APC was one of my earliest Cinema4D models, it was chosen in
part because it is such a straightforward design, well suited to my
ability level as a CG beginner. The model has been updated a couple of
times since and now exists in a number of different versions. The Blood
Angels' variant has custom hatches on the upper deck, the commander's
cupola being based on an old WWII panzer tank cupola.

This Imperial Fists'Rhino is fairly standard, I did however add a number
of spare track links to the forward hull.

My second Imperial Fists' Rhino features spaced armour panels. The above
image also shows the Rhino's rear access ramp which is not standard for
this version of the Rhino but which I created based on the design style of
the MkIII Land Raider.

The Ultramarines' Rhino has the single boltgun turrets on the upper deck
and has also been given a missile launcher on the rear. In addition the
smoke/chaff dischargers are based on the ones from the Imperial Guard tank
accessories sprue which look a bit more high tech than the more basic
dischargers which are actually supplied with the Rhino kit.

This Salamanders' Rhino again has spaced armour panels and also twin
storm bolters on the upper deck.

Although I have built a proper Chaos Rhino I also have this vehicle in
the colours of the Emperor's Children Chapter which represents a Rhino at
a point in time when the Chapter has turned to Chaos but the signs are not
yet that evident, the Imperial insiginia have been defaced with Chaos
markings but there are no physical differences between this vehicle and
those used by the Loyalist Chapters.
